As a part of the iconic Share a Coke campaign, we fabricated a custom shelter insert that would dispense a Coke in exchange for a smile.
What appears to be a touch screen and backlit vinyl; custom vending mechanisms, refrigeration, electronics and 100 cans of Coke are concealed in the 7” deep space. A facial recognition camera was installed into the top of the shelter to capture the smiling face and trigger a response from the dispensing unit. Two of these units were fabricated and installed on the streets of Chicago.

This project showcased our problem-solving skills. Our challenge was to incorporate technology, mechanics, refrigeration and a product into a small space. More importantly, it had to function perfectly. Atomic assisted in all areas of the project, from conceptualization through installation.
