We fabricated a fully functioning crane and environment years ago but our client wanted to update it to highlight one of their most iconic projects, the U.S. Bank Stadium.
We took a 3D model of the stadium and modified it to fit within the existing footprint. Highlighting the memorable features of the stadium, its ship-like shape and massive doors, we created an iconic and interactive prop that strengthened their brand.
The crane could have been made to travel but instead, it lives in the lobby of Mortenson’s world headquarters. Visitors can operate the crane using two joysticks to pick up objects. The operator’s chair also includes hydraulics to make the prop more engaging.
