Zulu Alpha Kilo came to Atomic to produce the polar bears and icebergs for their experiential display in Canada.
The campaign was created to save the environment, and save the polar bears. For each pledge to support the program, the temperature was decreased to keep the interactive display frozen and help the polar bear conservation efforts.
We received small-scale polar bears carved by the Inuit tribe and 3D scanned them to produce an exact large-scale replica.

Even though the shapes are simple in design, they required a lot of attention in the sanding and finishing process. It was very important that we made sure the foam was blemish free and smooth prior to applying a hard coat that will highlight any flaws.
