These iconic statues have appeared at national landmarks all over the United States, in Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, Green Bay, and Los Angeles for the past 5 years. Measuring 20’ and weighing 9,600 pounds, each statue conformed to structural requirements for interaction with the public.
Some colder climate installations such as Lambeau Field in Green Bay had encouraged personal engagement with the use of the statues installed radiant heat.
This project was an opportunity to connect with our engineering skills. The statue was to be sent around the USA and would require up-front design detail and logistic thought incorporated into the fabrication for those many events.
