How it was done
With the launch of Disney+, a promotion was created to catch the eyes of people in Los Angeles. Five identical “Disney +” rooftop displays were 5” deep channel letters that were internally lit.
The letters were fabricated and attached to a steel frame that could secure to the existing shelter.
The arch had a digitally printed overlay to provide the blue seen in the logo.
The outdoor company was able to lift the frame in one piece and once securely in place, an electrician connected the existing power to the letters.
The lights were programmed to light the streets of Sunset Boulevard from dusk to dawn.
