The Jell-O Pudding Face Mood Meter began as a website to monitor the mood of the country via Twitter. Crispin, Porter & Bogusky wanted to bring the mood meter to life as one of the first internet connected billboards. The giant face would react depending on the percentage of J and L emoticons in the Twitterverse. Jell-O also gave away free pudding to people who weren’t having the best day. Atomic fabricated the mechanical structure that made the billboard move from a smile to frown. We also programmed a computer to calculate the J to L ratio and make the billboard react accordingly.
