Need to Know

If you want to stand out and be remembered at Comic-Con San Diego you need to do something big and interact with attendees.  A combination of an escape room and a replica set of the precinct put attendees/recruits to the test so they can join the squad.  Atomic created the exterior surround that could be seen while waiting in line outside. The building façade walls measured 24’ x 22’ long and 24’ t x 13’ long.  The walls were steel frames with a vinyl print secured to the frame that carried the brick exterior and some of the windows.  Brooklyn Nine-Nine letters were CNC Foam cut with a hard coat and paint finish.  Attachment points were added so they could be easily attached to the wall structure on site.  The 16’ tall Statue of Liberty was fabricated from CNC cut foam with steel frame, hard coat, and patina paint finish.  The statue was outfitted with custom mirror sunglasses and 3D printed badge and lanyard to complete her look.  The shopfront was created to house client supplied video screens. Also included in the build was a ramp/sidewalk, utility door for access to the interior of the display.  The project was designed and engineered by Atomic to fit with other structures supplied by others.
